Guntur West MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy is expressing his discontentment that he was denied the minister’s post despite fighting for various issues in the Parliament and being elected as a MLA during 2014 elections.
He said though Chandra Babu had assured him a minister’s post, he did not keep his word.
During an informal meeting with media persons in the Assembly lobby, Modugula said that had Lagadapati used the pepper spray three minutes earlier, the Bifurcation Bill could have been stalled in the Parliament.
However, even if the Bill was stalled temporarily, it would not have been of much help as Sonia Gandhi was decided on bifurcating the state, he disclosed.
