I Am Not In Race For CM's Post: Harish Rao

TRS key leader and minister T Harish Rao's comments on CM post during Warangal bypoll campaign has stirred up a hornet's nest.

At a time when the entire party leaders and cadre including himself were busy in bypoll campaigning, Harish commented that he was not in the race for Telangana Chief Minister post.

Though his comments are not against KCR or TRS leadership or KCR's son and daughter KTR and Kavita, but they seem to be embarrassed all at a time when there was no need to rake up a debate on 'who will be next CM of Telangana' when KCR is in full control of government as CM and as president of TRS.

Harish futher went on to say that he, KTR and Kavita share a very good and healthy relationship and he doesn't view them as his competitors.

He also said he, KTR and Kavita became leaders by actively involving in Telangana statehood agitation, won elections with huge majority with the support of people and not reached this position through 'back door entry' unlike leaders in other parties who rose to power with their family background.

Though his comments were so far so good, what has been surprising TRS party circles is that the reference of 'back door entry' which they feel was made to take a dig at KTR and Kavita as they rose in TRS party through "back-door entry" during the peak of the agitation while Harish worked for TRS since its inception in 2001 and actively associated with public and party cadre from ground-level.
