'Hyderabad Builder' Finds No Taker

Staking complete credit for the development of Hyderabad, Nara Lokesh had campaigned for the TDP in the GHMC polls.

“It is the TDP which developed Hyderabad. My father developed Hi-tech City and put Hyderabad on the global map and my grandfather took the first steps towards making Hyderabad a world-class city. We developed Hyderabad, not KCR or his son,” said Nara Lokesh.

"IT and other sectors were developed in Hyderabad by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and besides creating lakhs of new jobs, investments worth crores of rupees were brought in through proper planning and execution.

The previous Congress Government only continued the initiatives taken by TDP Government. However, the TRS Government completely damaged the city’s brand image during its 18-month rule," said Lokesh.

He assured that the TDP-BJP combine would restore the city’s lost glory.

Unfortunately, the GHMC electoral results prove that here were few takers for Lokesh’s claims. Apparently, the people rejected outright his claims of the Nandamuri and Nara family developing Hyderabad.

How else could one explain the disastrous performance of the TDP in the polls? They just did not trust this ‘Hyderabad builder’.
