How Is The Plant Planted By KCR?

How Is The Plant Planted By KCR?

Haritha Haram, the prestigious programme taken up by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, has turned out to be a big headache for the MLAs and also the party leaders in the districts.

The chief minister is learnt to have instructed that the MLAs and local officials would be held responsible if the saplings planted during the programme are not nurtured properly.

For example, KCR had planted a neem tree sapling on the national highway side at Gundrampalli village of Nakirekal mandal in Nalgonda district on the first day of the programme. Everybody thought he had forgotten where he had planted the sapling.

But a couple of days ago, KCR called up local MLA Vemula Veeresham and asked how the sapling planted by him at Gundrampalli was. Apparently, the chief minister had all the details of the sapling he had planted there. The MLA was panicky and immediately rushed to the village along with the officials.

He was shocked to find that the sapling was missing, as there was no tree guard for it. He immediately asked the officials to plant another plant in the same place and cover it with a tree guard.

However, officials told the MLA that the sapling planted by KCR was that of neem tree, whereas the one replacing it is something else. If KCR comes back to the village and inspects the tree, the MLA would be in deep soup!
