How can firebrand Telugu Desam Party legislator from Kodangal in Mahbubnagar district and party working president A Revanth Reddy wriggle out of the cash-for-vote scam?
Well, former MP from Rajahmundry Vundavalli Arun Kumar has a solution.
All that Revanth Reddy has to do is search for a suitable look-alike person or a dupe who resembles him and convince him to admit in the court that he was the one who was seen in the video-clipping offering bribe to nominated Anglo Indian MLA Elvis Stevenson to vote for the TDP in the MLC elections in 2015.
“It is very difficult for Revanth Reddy to get out of the cash-for-vote scam, unless he proves that the person in the video was his look-alike and not himself,” Vundavalli said.
The former MP predicted that the TDP would face turbulent situation in 2018 after the budget session of the assembly and there would be large scale exodus of senior party leaders from it.
“There are going to be major political changes in the state. But what is going to happen subsequently is not easy to guess even for Potuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy,” he said.
