Harsh Kumar rejects Diggy overtures!

Expelled Amalapuram MP G V Harsha Kumar on Thursday stoutly rejected the invitation from AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh to get back to the Congress fold.

When Singh rang him up, Harsha Kumar stated that he did not quit the Congress on his own,  but he was thrown out from the party.

The MP is understood to have refused to be in the Congress fold when Singh asked him to get back in the run up to the general elections.

Harsha Kumar however, hinted that he may think of the proposal only when the Congress revokes the suspension against him or all other six MPs, according to sources.

When the senior Congress leader insisted that they have no problem to revoke suspension, Harsha Kumar is said to be non-committal on the proposal.

Sources said that he will talk to the Jai Samaikyandhra Party chief and former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on the proposal.

It is also learnt that he will contest from the JSP instead of getting back to the Congress. It is to be seen whether he will switch back to the Congress fold.
