After quitting the TDP, Jayaprada's political career got an unexpected lease of life when she joined the Samajwadi Party thanks to her mentor Amar Singh, a key figure in the Party.
She also won as MP from Rampur. But things took a turn for the worse when Amar Singh had differences with Mulayam Singh Yadav and came out of the Party with Jayaprada.
The duo started a new Party and lost their deposit in the elections. Since then, Jayaprada tried to get into any Party in Andhra Pradesh without success. But the future still holds promise for her. Why?
Because Mulayam and Amar Singh seem to have patched up! At an Iftar party thrown by Mulayam, Amar Singh was also in attendance. This is an indication that the past is behind them now and pretty soon, Amar Singh might go back to the Samajwadi Party.
And if Amar Singh is back in favor, it means that Jayaprada will also be back in favor.
