Ever since former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy hinted that he would stage a comeback into politics at an appropriate time, a lot of speculations have been doing rounds as to which party he would join.
Kiran told his constituency people that the bride was ready and he was only waiting for the right muhurtam to tie the knot.
Some sections in the media speculated that he would be joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, others said he would be returning to the Congress party to restore its lost glory in Andhra Pradesh.
There was also a talk that he might join the YSR Congress party, which is the only political alternative in the state that has potential to come to power.
Now, the latest rumour doing rounds in the media circles is that Kiran is going to join the Jana Sena Party floated by power star Pavan Kalyan on November 23.
He is learnt to have conveyed the same to his followers. And Pavan has decided to declare Kiran as the vice-president of Jana Sena.
While Kiran would formally join the Jana Sena at Pavan’s residence in Hyderabad, he is planning to hold a big public meeting very soon, where he and Pavan would address the people and announce their action plan, sources said.
