When Shobha Nagi Reddy passed away, Manchu Laxmi was seen at the hospital consoling the daughters of Shobha Nagi Reddy.
From the visuals on television, one could make out that Manchu Laxmi appeared to be pretty upset herself. But later in the evening, she was seen posing with the co-stars of Chandamama Kathalu at a special screening of the show at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad.
There appeared to be none of the morning’s stress on her face. Now one could argue that she was just being professional by promoting the film and thereby helping the makers of the film.
But strange indeed are the ways of celebrities! Common people would find it well-nigh impossible to tune their emotions to a different level, so soon.
