'Social Welfare' Minister of Andhra Pradesh seems to know the rules of the trade very well and that is to praise your leader to the skies.
Against the backdrop of the controversial ‘land pooling’ (or is it ‘farmer fooling’?) scheme of Chandrababu Naidu, a group of pro-TDP farmers met him in Hyderabad yesterday.
Ravela said that the farmers were very happy after the meeting with Chandrababu and there were no words to express the happiness of the former.
The farmers according to Ravela, hailed Naidu for his vision and integrity. He also said that the government would release a notification soon on which areas will come under the capital city.
On one hand, the farmers are genuinely concerned about their livelihood being destroyed forever and on the other hand, we have leaders like Ravela who make wrong statements just to make a mark with their leaders.
Ironically, he is the Minister for ‘Social Welfare’.
