Expected: Naidu Gets Relief From HC

As expected, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday managed to get relief from the Hyderabad High Court in the cash-for-vote scandal.

The High Court quashed the petition of YSR Congress party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy filed in the ACB Court seeking fresh investigation into the cash-for-vote case involving Naidu’s role in the scam since the audio tapes clearly established that the voice sample in the tapes were that of Naidu.

However, the High Court felt that the petition was not fit for admission, since the ACB had already filed a charge sheet in the case.

Interestingly, former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar also impleaded in the case, but the High Court dismissed his petition as well.

Now, it is almost certain that Naidu would get acquittal in the case, since the ACB would anyway not probe his role in the case. However, Revanth might get fixed in the case, since KCR is hell-bent on sending him to jail!
