The ruling TRS is all set to continue its winning streak in elections in Telangana. The polling for Narayankhed Assembly bypoll in Medak district was held on Saturday. A massive polling percentage of 81.72 was recorded.
The exit polls done by various agencies predicted bumper majority for TRS.
The exit polls pointed out that TRS will get 68 per cent of polled votes, while Congress is set to lose its sitting seat in Narayankhed by getting a mere 18 per cent vote share.
The TDP will once again be confined to single digit vote share of about 8 per cent and others.
While TRS fielded M Bhupal Reddy, the Congress fielded Dr P.Sanjiva Reddy and TDP candidate was M Vijaypal Reddy.
Narayankhed seat is considered to be the stronghold of Congress for five decades. Following the death of Congress sitting MLA Kista Reddy last year, the bypoll was held. But the Congress is set to lose miserably to TRS now as per exit polls.
