Did The Governor Visit Tirumala So Many Times?

Did The Governor Visit Tirumala So Many Times?

Being a public figure is like walking on a double-edged sword. You go a little off the track and the public will pounce on to you.

Right now, Governor Narasimhan has come under the radar of people and media. Well, the reason is his frequent visits to Tirumala.

Apparently, the Governor had visited Tirumala at least 37 times in the past five and half years. And it is said that while there he had gone for 60 darshans.

The list has gone to the extent where he had visited Tirumala two to three times in one month and that he had gone to darshans both in the morning and in the evening on the same day.

While he mostly visited the holy shrine with his spouse, he also took along his family members on several occasions.

If the Governor visited the temple with his personal expenses, then it would have been a different story altogether. But all his trips have been official visits and with all the security and special services extended to him thanks to protocol, it has become a huge nuisance for ordinary people.

In fact, the Governor would have taken care not to disturb other devotees, but his frequent visits have given enough reason for his detractors to make comments.

In the past, he would frequent the Anjaneya Swamy temple near Governor’s residence and when similar criticism was made, he felt bad and stopped visiting the temple and clarified that it was not his intention to disturb commuters.

What’s surprising is the timing of the rumours. Well, that’s a totally different story altogether.
