Demolitions In AP Secretariat Before It Begins!

Demolitions In AP Secretariat Before It Begins!

The Chandrababu Naidu government had created a lot of hype on shifting of capital from Hyderabad to Amaravati and set a deadline of June 27.

He instructed that all the employees, ministers and heads of department in and out of Andhra Secretariat in Hyderabad should compulsorily shift to the temporary Secretariat complex being constructed at Velagapudi before this deadline.

However, it all turned out to be hoax. The employees went to Velagapudi in large numbers from Hyderabad but returned within no time as the works in the Secretariat complex were yet to be completed.

A couple of ministers, too, performed Pooja in their chambers in the new Secretariat, but stopped going there because there were no facilities. Now, the Secretariat is yet to start functioning officially.

The latest news is that some of the chambers in the new complex are being demolished even before it started functioning. Reason: the ministers are not happy with the chambers, which are congested as well as are not according to Vasthu. So, they refused to occupy the chambers unless they are remodelled.

Now, the work has come back to square one all over again!
