Dayakar Sulking, But Not To Quit TDP

Telugu Desam Party floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who created a flutter in the party circles by meeting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao secretly a couple of days ago, is still sulking as he is quite unhappy with the way party president N Chandrababu Naidu is instigating another party MLA A Revanth Reddy to target his community.

Dayakar Rao, who came out of one-day hibernation met Naidu on Tuesday and expressed his dissatisfaction over Revanth’s outburst against his Velama community.

He, however, made it clear that he would not quit the TDP under any circumstances.

Dayakar Rao clarified there was no truth in the reports that he would quit the TDP and join the TRS.

He agreed that he and 10 party leaders met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on an issue on Sunday afternoon, but not at mid-night as reported by the media. He had no intention of change the party, he declared.

Dayakar Rao felt he had no objection to bring the land issue into light, but caste name was targeted in it. He said the false stories bothered him very much.

He brought the matter to the notice of party supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu. If anything was wrong in the land issue, a House committee should be constituted and appropriate action is taken, he demanded.

A meeting of floor leaders of all political parties should also be held on the land issue, he said.

He also made it clear that he never asked TDP MLA Dharma Reddy to quit the TDP and join TRS.
