Cong Won't Believe Exit Polls!

Despite knowing that the writing on the wall is clear about its rout in the general elections, the Congress party still believes that it has a chance to come to power again.

Rubbishing the exit poll results of the 2014 general elections, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh tweeted that while there are 80 crore electors in the country, the exit pollsters elicited views of only one lakh voters and came out with results which will be far from truth. Digvijay said the party is awaiting election results announced on May 16.

AICC secretary Shakeel Ahmed also aired similar views on the election results.

He also recalled that various exit polls in 2004 and 2009 had claimed that anti-Congress wave was sweeping the country, but the actual results proved otherwise.
