Cong Threatens To Unite AP, Telangana!

It was the Congress party which had taken a lot of risk in dividing the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana State, for which it had to pay a heavy price in both Telangana and AP.

Now that the people have rejected the Congress party outright, it is now trying to blackmail them. If not all, at least some frustrated Congress leaders like former Union Minister Balram Naik, are expressing regrets for dividing the united AP.

On Friday, Balram Naik kicked up a controversy by threatening that the party would launch an agitation for uniting Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, if the people did not vote for the Congress party in the ensuing by-election to Warangal Lok Sabha seat.

“If you won’t vote for Congress party in the by-poll, we will unite Andhra and Telangana when we form government at the national level,” said Balram Naik addressing the public as part of ‘Rythu Barosa yatra’ at Narsannapeta. However, leaders on the stage tried to calm down Balram Naik, but the ex-MP refused to take back his statements.

It’s height of frustration of the Congress leaders!
