Cong Raises Pitch Against KCR!

Finally, the Telangana Congress leaders are gaining strength and unity to fight against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao and are trying to regain their lost ground in the state.

Even as the Telangana Congress leaders took out a massive rally in Hyderabad opposing the demonetisation, the party MLAs in the Assembly upped ante against the TRS government by issuing a notice for moving a privilege motion against the chief minister alleging him of diverting the house.

The notice was handed over to the Speaker under Clause 168. According to Congress members, the Chief Minister speaking in the assembly on 2016 March 29 assured the members to pay all arrears by April, 2016. He also assured for payment of fees reimbursement hereafter monthly.

But, again speaking in the house on January 4, 2017, the Chief Minister said that it is not possible for any government to ensure 100 per cent fees reimbursement. Stating that there is connection to his earlier and present statements, they said it amounts to diverting attention of the house.

Leader of House K Jana Reddy, Deputy Leader B Jeevan Reddy, MLAs G Chinna Reddy, Sampath Kumar, N Padmavathi Reddy and others signed on the motion.
