Complaint Filed Against TANA President

A complaint was filed against 'Telugu Association of North America' (TANA) President, Vemana Satish at Banjara Hills Police Station by a resident of Hyderabad, Mr. Sunkara Venkateswara Rao.

The complainant said that Vemana Satish immediately on arriving at Shamshabad airport from the US travelled in a car with a blue beacon. Since, he is not an official representative of the government or having any kind of constituional authority, Mr. Venkateswara Rao questioned the use of the beacon on a private vehicle.

What’s more, Vemana Satish also uploaded the photographs of him travelling in the vehicle to boast of the five star treatment he got in India.

Mr. Rao had submitted copies of the photographs to the authorities. These people have a very good education and a good life in the US. They constantly talk of civic sense, rules and regulations and frequently lambast the problems in India. But once in India, they behave in exactly the same fashion as the people they criticize, violating rules and promoting their own kith and kin. And these people claim to be guardians of the interests of Telugu people in overseas.
