Competition Goes Abroad

Their dads once worked together but are now bitter rivals. The sons are now being groomed as future Chief Ministers and are playing a prominent role in Party affairs. Although they operate in different states, the competition between them is by no means over.

The TDP has a pretty strong base in Telangana and is confident of bouncing back there on the ‘Telugu’ tag.

The TRS on the other hand views the TDP as the biggest threat to it in the region and is doing everything possible to dismantle the yellow Party.

On the other hand, the groundwork for the elevation of Lokesh and KTR as the next-generation chiefs is being prepared in a smooth manner.

Call it a coincidence or an act of intent, but close on the heels of Nara Lokesh’s announced visit to the US to attract funds to AP, comes the news that KTR will also be leaving for the US to get funds for ‘Bangaru Telangana’.

Lokesh is trying for an appointment with Barack Obama himself. Will KTR take this lying down?

Undoubtedly, as both KTR and Lokesh would extend an invitation to Obama to come visit their respective States if they get to meet him, in return they would probably get a small lecture on maintaining the secular traditions of India.
