Former minister and Congress MP Chiranjeevi faced an unusual situation in Rajya Sabha.
Deputy Chairman Kurien has allocated 3 minutes for Chiranjeevi to speak on Polavaram project and the actor-turned –politician started to ready a pre-written script and it went on for seven minutes.
Kurien asked Chiranjeevi to cut down his speech but the Congress MP continued to talk. This angered the deputy chairman and after the completion of the speech, Kurien asked members not to come up with pre-written scripts and suggested MPs not to do such thing in future.
Known for his soft nature, Chiranjeevi was left embarrassed and did nothing but thanked the deputy chairman.
