YSRCP leader and MLA Roja reacted to the statement of Minister Pulla Rao who informed that a list of all people who benefited from loan waivers will be put up soon.
Incidentally, the ruling Telugu Desam Party is planning a programme from September 9, which will be called Raitu Kosam Chandranna.
During the 15-day programme, AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu will go on a padayatra and interact with villagers and farmers personally.
He will share details on increasing crop productivity and other welfare schemes taken up by the TDP government for betterment of farmers. As a part of the programme, CM will also take part in public meetings, workshops and other cultural activities.
Roja said Chandranna Karuvu Yatra will be a super title for the programme as people are suffering due to acute drought conditions. On the other hand, inflated prices have also doubled their troubles she said.
Hence a name change for the programme said Roja sarcastically.
Be it loan waivers or acquisition of fertile agricultural lands, Babu and his government have been drawing flak and there is rising dissent among villagers, especially farmers.
So, Raithu Kosam Chandranna is a programme aimed at building PR for the party and make sure that the CM reaches out to the farmers before the opposition leaders too.
It remains to be seen how this game plan of ruling party will work to their benefit in the long run.
