As per the latest reports, Sivaramakrishnan Committee which was appointed by the Central Government to finalize the capital for Andhra Pradesh, has come up with their report.
Andhra Pradesh Government has also appointed a committee under Minister Narayana’s supervision and their team is yet to start their research.
Sources close to this minister have informed that their team will be visiting famous capital cities across the globe for their research.
On the other hand, Minister Pratthipati Pulla Rao said that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is clear about the capital and it would be in between Vijayawada and Guntur.
Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that it’s a general procedure for these committees to come up with some options and the final decision will be taken by the Chief Ministers and his team.
In the past, Sri Krishna Committee came up with some options for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but their requests were blindly ignored by the leaders of TRS.
Political analysts are questioning the government that why are they agreeing for setting up central committees when they don’t want to consider their options.
