Former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, who joined the YSR Congress party a couple of days ago, has finally made an entry into the Lotus Pond, the official residence of party chief Y S Jaganmoan Reddy, whom he had criticized several times in the past.
Botsa chose Lotus Pond to mount a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on the Cash for Vote issue and demanded a CBI probe in to the matter. He questioned how the people could live with dignity if the Chief minister himself resorts to corrupt practices.
He said that Naidu has excelled late NTR in action. Naidu was telling that his phone was being tapped. He asked why Naidu never said that the tone in the tape released was not his. He also said that the Chief Minister has not condemned the Revanth Reddy affair. He said that in cases of corruption, a common man and a chief Minister are equal and if necessary, their phones could be tapped. Chief Ministers cannot have special protection in the matter, he added.
The former Minister said that if Naidu had really not committed any offence, he should fight legally; but he should not commit more mistakes to cover up his mistake and thus bring down the reputation of the State.
