Bonalu goddess angry with KCR govt!

During the Bonalu festival, it has been practice for 'Goddess Mahankali' to express her views through a woman at 'Rangam' on the second day. And there is a belief that whatever the woman says will come true.

So, on Monday, Swarnalatha, the woman who carried the spirit of Goddess Mahankali, at the Bonalu festival at the Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad, made some interesting comments against the KCR government at the “Rangam.”

She said the government was neglecting Her even after bifurcation. She expressed displeasure over the attitude of the ruling party leaders after bifurcation.

“Rouges should make amends and reform themselves,” she roared.

During the traditional “Rangam”, standing on a just-made mud pot in front of Mathangi temple opposite the presiding deity, Swarnalatha, in a trance, ordered her devotees not to do anything without her consent, otherwise, they would have to face her wrath. “When sins are growing unabated, how can there be rains?”

As thousands of devotees thronged the temple, Swarnalatha said the selfishness of leaders was adding to the woes of the people.

“The leaders should work with spirit of service and sacrifice, but they are drenched in selfishness. They are looting the wealth of the State and even of the temples,” she said.

“How anything good will be possible if leaders behave like this,” she said, warning that leaders should aim to serve people better.
