Enemy's enemy is friend – so goes the saying. And former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy seems to be following the saying strictly.
On Monday, Jaipal was all praise for Telugu Desam Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his “foresight” in procuring power to the AP well in advance in anticipation of the power crisis.
“Naidu has taken initiative in averting power crisis in his state and bought power from the neighbouring States. He had shown the vision,” Jaipal said.
In the same breath, Jaipal attacked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao for lacking the same foresight displayed by Naidu.
“KCR is still in the hangover of victory in the last elections. He is trying to hoodwink people by telling white lies in order to cover up his inefficiency,” Jaipal said.
