KCR threw protocol to the winds when he issued a 'swine flu' advertisement today in the leading newspapers.
The advertisement asks people to take precautionary measures listing out the symptoms of the virus while elaborating at the same time on the initiatives taken by the government to combat the menace.
What was noteworthy about the advertisement was that it contained only the photograph of KCR although such advertisements normally have to be routed through the ‘Health Ministry’ and also include the photograph of the ‘Health Minister’! This is another way of KCR letting Rajaiah know that the latter is seriously out of favor.
What KCR should have done is to sack Rajaiah and issue the advertisement after taking over Rajaiah’s portfolio. Since as of now, Rajaiah is still the ‘Health Minister’, the advertisement should have been routed through the Health Ministry.
