With none of the Kapu leaders coming out in support of Chandrababu to counter the allegations of Mudragadda Padmanabham, Chandrababu was upset and is believed to have given them a piece of his mind.
“I have given you plum posts in my party. Why are you all silent?” is what Naidu is believed to have questioned the Kapu leaders. They immediately sprang into action and started making statements against Mudragadda.
China Rajappa, Narayana, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Mrunalini lashed out at Mudragadda. As for Bonda Uma, he alleged a nexus between Jagan and Mudragadda.
But behind the scenes, all these politicians are conveying to their community elders that they were criticizing Mudragadda only for political reasons and that their comments should not be taken personally.
