BBC mocks India!

Throwing aside India’s request not to telecast the controversial interview with Nirbhaya’s rapist, Mukesh Singh, the BBC uploaded the entire interview on you tube four days ahead of schedule.

The documentary titled ‘India’s Daughter’ has Mukesh Singh expressing his views on the episode which are better left unsaid.

The remarks created such a furor in India that the Union Home Ministry was forced to step in and ban the documentary.

Following the government’s order, the documentary made by Leslee Udwin which was originally supposed to be aired on March 8 (International Women’s Day) was uploaded earlier.

Sushil Kumar Shinde, the then Home Minister in the UPA government had given permission for the interview.

What the BBC hopes to gain from broadcasting this documentary is unclear except for portraying the country in a poor light. Do they have no respect for the Indian Law?
