Ashok Babu Changes His Stance

Ashok Babu Changes His Stance

In the past, AP NGOs’ president Ashok Babu cried himself hoarse that once the state gets bifurcated, it would mean immediate shift to the new capital city.

He had said that NGOs wouldn’t mind working sitting under trees once the state was separated. But months after bifurcation, he is singing a different tune.

He is expressing concern over the employees being shifted to Vijayawada even without basic infrastructure facilities.

Ashok Babu said it would be very difficult to function from Vijayawada without basic facilities and hinted that some departments must continue to function from here.

He suggested that only vital departments must be shifted at the earliest and that the employees must be consulted before being transferred.

Well, there is no issue with wanting basic amenities. But what exactly does he mean by transferring them only after consulting them? Supposing no one wants to get transferred, then who will work in Vijayawada?
