Venkayya Naidu has been called to inaugurate a modern, state-of-the art crematorium called 'Mahaprasthanam' in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
It’s a smart crematorium because it is provided with Wi-Fi enabled viewing of the funeral from any part of the world. But the people of Andhra Pradesh feel that Venkayya Naidu is the apt choice for inaugurating not just this cemetery but any cemetery in the world.
“He promised the moon to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Now this man is unashamedly going back on everything he has promised. He has cremated all the hopes and desires of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Hence, he is the right person to launch a crematorium,” said one citizen of AP, tongue-in-cheek.
Let’s hope Venkayya Naidu does not promise a ‘special status’ to the ghosts in the crematorium. He can get away with fooling human beings, not ghosts.
