We had reported some time back that Mysoora Reddy who is at the fag end of his political career is now planning to take up the cause of Rayalaseema agitation rather seriously.
Well, as a step forward in this direction, he has now commented that Andhra Pradesh's new capital Amaravathi is not their capital.
The YSRCP leader said that the new government of Andhra Pradesh was behaving as per its whims and fancies and the whole new capital drama is about promoting land mafia.
Mysoora Reddy said that while the Sivaramakrishnan Committee clearly mentioned that the new capital must not be developed between Vijayawada and Guntur, the government of AP is still going ahead with its agenda and making the city beyond the reach of the common man.
The senior leader further added that the people of Rayalaseema are not happy with this development and that's the reason why they are least bothered about the happenings in the capital zone he said.
He revealed that Seema people are of the opinion that the time is right for them to get together and fight for a new state.
Reddy further expressed his anguish over the way the capital zone farmers were being threatened and treated.
He said SP of the region was behaving in a rather reckless manner and said that he too was instrumental in perpetuating fear among people.
