Do you remember Pratyusha, who was tortured and tormented by her father and step-mother and was later ‘adopted’ by none other than Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao?
Well, last time we had heard about this girl was that she had been sent to girls’ hostel, after having dinner with KCR and his family member a few days ago.
Recently, she was in the news for passing her Intermediate examinations successfully, after initial goof-up over her practical marks. She told the officials that she would soon join the B Sc (Nursing) course and take up the profession as her career.
So far, so good. But now, Pratyusha has given a virtual shock to the Chief Minister. She is learnt to have told the officials that she was no more interested in her studies and that she would get married.
She quietly told them that she was in love with a boy and wanted to marry him. Since KCR had assured her that he would help her come up in life and see that she got married, Pratyusha now wants the Chief Minister to marry her off to the boy she loves.
This was real shocking to the officials of the women development and child welfare department officials, who were taking care of her till now. They tried to convince her that it was not the right time for her to marry, as KCR himself had adopted her and it would bring him a bad name. But Pratyusha was adamant.
The offiicals then informed the matter to KCR, who asked them to enquire about the boy’s whereabouts.
It is learnt the boy, who belongs to Allagadda in Kurnool district, works in an automobile shop in Hyderabad. He used to frequently come to Pratyusha’s hostel to see her. Now that he is under scanner of the KCR government, it remains to be seen how this episode takes a turn.
