Here's really interesting thing about the Kapu Corporation constituted to provide loans to unemployed youth in the Kapu community.
Apparently, there exist no guidelines to select the beneficiaries. That means the managing committee of the Corporation can give the loan to whoever they like in an arbitrary fashion.
Nearly three and a half lakh applications have been received from Kapu youth and the maximum disbursable loan amount for an applicant is Rs 50000.
There is no way that the fund of Rs 1000 crore will suffice to serve the cause. And what proper business can any person start with a loan of Rs 50000?
No, chances are that 99% of the loans will end up as bad loans and the whole Rs 1000 crore or whatever will be waived off as a 2019 poll promise.
The whole thing’s a joke, that’s what it is!
