Chandrababu Naidu has spent more than Rs 100 crore on the renovation of his camp office and Secretariat in Hyderabad, since coming to power.
He then spent Rs 400 crore on the capital foundation ceremony. He now wants to construct a temporary secretariat amounting to Rs 180 crore, a temporary one, mind you, until the actual secretariat, a state-of-the art one is finished by 2018 in Amaravathi.
When he is confident of completing the Secretariat in just two years, what sense does it make to have a temporary one for Rs 180 crore? Can’t he just opt for some existing buildings?
Earlier, as well, he started Pattiseema when there was no need for it. Pattiseema is redundant when you have Polavaram and an unforgivable and criminal wastage of money.
