It’s the story of a News Channel Reporter who unites two lovers by emancipating them from the clutches of factionists.

Story

Pawan Kalyan is a news reporter in S-TV channel. He interviews a terrorist in Assam and records the same in a cassette. But he loses it while saving a girl from bomb attack at the same place. Tanikella Bharani, the MD of the channel, gives bad conduct certificate to Pawan Kalyan for losing the cassette and dismisses from the job. Then Pawan Kalyan tries to woo Mukhesh Rishi, the brother-in-law of Tanikella Bharani, who comes from USA to AP. Thus he meets Mukhesh Rishi with a fake recommendation certificate from Tanikella to get his sign on it.

But conditions and circumstances lead Pawan to be with Mukhesh Rishi’s family for longer time. Mukhesh Rishi possesses two daughters- one is Meera Chopra and the other is a younger one. Pawan turns a rescuer and protector of Meera and her sister when they are attacked by chauvinistic factionists in Kurnool (Mukhesh Rishi’s place).

Meera loves Raja in USA and wants to get united with him. But Mukhesh Rishi wishes to get her married to factionist Ashuthosh Rana’s brother.

Finally Pawan Kalyan accomplishes his mission by uniting Meera and Raja leaving his professional goal aside. Rest of the action sequence has to be seen on screen.

Performances

Pawan Kalyan:
Pawan Kalyan performed with his habitual mannerisms to the delight of his fans. The scene in which he imitates Mukhesh Rishi and Meera Chopra deserves a mention as that brings laughs from audiences. Fights are impressive and dances are commendable. Performing in a fight by wearing a T-shirt with Chiranjeevi’s picture brings whistles in theaters.

Meera Chopra:
She performed well through out the film and spilled no glamour quotient on screen. She was seen with fully covered chudidars and salwars through out.

Reema Sen:
She added a little spiciness to screen with her hot glamour element. Little skirts and short shirts on her body gives visual treat for many audiences. She was good as a colleague to Pawan Kalyan but has less-role to play.

Comedy Track:
Comedy track by Ali, Venu Madhav and Shakeela is not impressive.

Others:
The 10 year old girl, who acted as younger sister to Meera Chopra performed well and she was at her best in enacting pathos. Mukhesh Rishi is good as dignified village head. Ashuthosh Rana’s portrayal as factionist is arrogant.

Music:
Vidya Sagar’s music is good and choreography added beauty to songs.

Analysis:

Long-winded dialogues, earsplitting shouts, ostentatious verbal bombardments and bloodbath on screen- This is the blend of ‘Bangaram’. Pawan Kalyan appears to be a hero without a heroine. Meera Chopra is the one who pairs up with Raja but not Pawan. There is no love element between Pawan and Meera through out the film. Pawan is only a rescuer till the end. The final topping after the climax with Trisha on screen conveys that Pawan Kalyan pairs up with Trisha, who has no role to play in the film at all. Well, it’s an attention-grabber at the grand finale. There are about three item songs in the film. The most popularly publicized item song on Trisha is not shown on to the screen.

First half of the film is blended with humor and little faction element while the second half turns very serious with maximum bloodshed. The film doesn’t disappoint the fans, as they wish to see their hero in hyperbole. It may run well in B and C centers. The censor board gave ‘A’ certificate for the film. But there were many films earlier which have shown more bloodshed than this and got tagged ‘U’ certificate by Censor Board. Why the film got ‘A’ certificate? This is the question that arises to everyone. There is no obscenity or vulgarity in the film. The violence part shown in the film is so common and people got immune to that degrss long back.
