SV Ranga
Rao is known for short temper, dipsomania and love for food.
But he stopped drinking during the shooting of the film 'Sampoorna
Ramayanam'. He portrayed the role of Ravana in that.
Bapu-Ramana was the director
and writer of that film. S V Ranga Rao used to trouble the
film makers regarding his food and drink generally. But he
gave great respect to Bapu-Ramana and cooperated with them.
That was a wonder in those
days.
