Top 5: Stage Set For Dhruva Storm

1) Manyam Puli: Telugu dubbed version of Mohan Lal’s Malayalam blockbuster Pulimurugan has performed well at the box office over the weekend.

The film’s Telugu dubbing rights were bought for a very moderate price and the makers have already got back their investment in three days. Word of mouth is positive, which should help the film to do steady business in week days.

2) Bhetaludu: Vijay Antony has become a rage in Tollywood market with the mighty success of Bichagadu.

Buyers expected Bethaludu to be another sensation like Bichagadu, but it hasn’t lived up to the expectations. After a bright start, Bethaludu quickly lost its ground due to poor talk.

3) Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada: This low budget supernatural thriller has turned out to be the surprise blockbuster of the season defying all odds. It has collected over 12 crore share and is still getting pretty decent shares in A centers.

4) Kahaani 2: Sequel to Vidya Balan’s iconic thriller Kahaani turned out to be a damp squib. It failed to recreate the magic of original due to dumb script.

The openings are also on the lower side due to poor pre release buzz. It will go down as a failure for the veteran actress.

5) Remo: Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo was able to recover the publicity costs, but couldn’t live up to the expectations of the rising star of Tamil cinema. Despite an aggressive publicity campaign, Remo could only get back the publicity expenses and the makers seem to be happy with it. They have also conducted a success meet for the film.

Dhruva is already trending top on Hyderabad Bookmyshow trends even before the main multiplexes have opened their bookings.

Stage is set for Dhruva storm and we can expect a thunderous start for the action thriller that is hitting the marquee on this Friday.
