Naidu to make last ditch effort in Nandyal

With YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy firing all the cylinders at the Telugu Desam Party and its president N Chandrababu Naidu during the electioneering in Nandyal in the last 10 days, the ruling party is making all efforts to neutralie the opposition onslaught in the next couple of days.

And Naidu himself is entering the campaign fray to make the last ditch efforts to secure victory for the TDP.

The chief minister is going to campaign in Nandyal on Saturday and Sunday to do his best to undo the damage caused to the party due to the allegations levelled by Jagan.

According to party sources, Naidu would give point-to-point rebuttal of the criticism made by the YSR Congress party president during the election campaign.

“The impact of the final stages of campaign will be more on the people. As such, they are fed up with the same allegations levelled by Jagan again and again without any proof or basis. We shall explain how the state has been progressing despite financial constraints,” a TDP leader said.

After Naidu’s campaign, only a few hours would be left for the campaign on Monday. The election will take place on Wednesday and the interim period would be utilized by both the parties to pump in maximum amount of money to buy votes.
