Maa TV bags Khaidi No 150 for 12 Cr

Star Maa TV has bought the satellite rights of Megastar Chiranjeevi's biggest hit "Khaidi No 150" for huge amount. The satellite rights fetched producer Ram Charan a whopping Rs 12 Cr.

Chiranjeevi who used to have a share in Maa TV is currently hosting "Meelo Evaru Koteeshwarudu" for the channel. He has special bond with that channel. Hence the TV bought the movie for such good price.

"Khaidi No 150" collected more than Rs 100 Cr share worldwide and set record as all-time second biggest hit in Tollywood's history after "Baahubali".

But the movie has failed to create any records as per as satellite rights are considered. Though Rs 12 Cr huge money, it isn't record amount. Recently, Pawan Kalyan's "Katamarayudu" was sold for another entertainment channel for Rs 12.5 Cr.

Still, Ram Charan is quite happy as he is making huge money on this project. The movie's revenues have surpassed beyond his expectations.
