Lyca to Co-Produce Chiranjeevi's New Movie

Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy" is turning bigger and bigger. It was GreatAndhra.com that broke the news that Ram Charan is going to invest more than Rs 120 Cr on this film after seeing the result of "Baahubali 2". The latest update is that the film's budget has further been hiked.

"Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy" is going to be one of costliest movies ever as both Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi feel that the movie has pan-India appeal. They are inspired by the mammoth success of Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2".

Hence, they have decided to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. They are also not going to compromise on visual effects and sets. Everything will be made on large scale.

So, the budget has been hiked. Ram Charan is now seeking the help of Lyca Productions, the Tamil production company in making the movie.

Lyca Production is likely to co-produce it. They will handle the movie in Tamilnadu and also on international front. Lyca Productions is currently producing Shankar - Rajinikanth's "2.0" with whopping Rs 400 Cr budget.

Ram Charan is personally dealing in all these aspects. It is he who brought in Bollywood's leading cameraman Ravi Varman for the movie.

Art director Rajeevan has already begun working on the sets. "Uyyalavada" will be launched on 22nd August on the eve of Chiranjeevi's birthday. The film is to be directed by Surender Reddy.
