Lagadapati Makes Telugu Cinema Proud

Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini  made a rare achievement. Telugu cinema is usually not much rewarded in the Film festivals both in India and world over.

On the contrary Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini was selected under the competition category by the Jaipur International film festival (JIFF) jury. JIFF would take place between 2 January 2016- 6 January 2016.

Jaipur film festival launched in January 2009, continues to happen in January each year. It is considered one among the most prestigious film festivals with umpteen entries from abroad.

It’s been a while any Telugu cinema made its entry into JIFF. After a long wait, Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini made the presence of Telugu cinema felt at JIFF.

Usually very few Indian movies get selected for screening there, hardly a handful from the hundreds of entries says sources from JIFF. It’s a open competition for International and National movies.

Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini is boasting the pride of Telugu cinema by Competing with world class movies and standing there among the handful that made it.

Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini is the remake of Kanada super hit Charminar, Directed by R.Chandru, casting Sudheer Babu and Nanditha in lead roles.

The movie was produced by Lagdapati Shridhar and Sireesha.
