Gabbar Singh Creates New 'Record' In USA

While all big movies and top stars aim to create new records with huge collections, 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' is creating a new records of sorts. The movie has completely lost the audiences in its second week and has posted abysmally low figures in USA. 

In its second weekend in US, “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” has grossed mere 20,807 dollars from 55 screens. For a big movie like this, the collections are almost like nil.

No big star Telugu movie has grossed such low from 55 screens. So Pawan Kalyan’s movie has set a new record of lowest collections for a Telugu biggie.

The movie now stands with the total collections of $10, 58,000 (7.04 Cr). The distributor who bought it will lose nearly Rs 4.5 Cr. 

On the other hand, Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer “Oopiri” is still strong. In its fourth weekend, the movie has grossed 14,593 dollars from 23 screens. Its total figure now stands at $15,58,600 (10.38 Cr)

Manchu Vishnu and Raj Tharun’s “Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam” in its opening weekend has failed to rake in any good money. It stands at $13,634 (9.08 lacs).
