Flops Fail To Sell Satellite Rights

There are times when a film fails, but the producers heave a sigh of relief thanks to the satellite rights. So was the case with films like Lie and Nakshatram.

Though both the films flopped, both made money from satellite rights. But there are times when a film flops and selling satellite rights becomes next to impossible.

Waiting in queue in a similar category are films of Sunil and Sandeep Kishan. Sunil's Ungarala Rambabu has been a huge disaster.

And the television channels are showing no interest in buying the film. Apart from Ungarala Rambabu, 2 Countries is also waiting for buyers to pick up satellite rights.

Hero Sandeep Kishan who was last seen in Nakshatram is also facing a similar problem. After the debacle of Krishnavamsi's film, there are literally no takers for his next films. Three to four of his projects like Project Z, C/O Surya, Nagaram... are all looking to sell their satellite rights.

Other small heroes like Nara Rohit, Aadi, Sudheer Babu, Manchu Manoj, Gopichand are also facing a similar problem.

Nara Rohit's Savitri, Appatlo Okadundevaadu, Sankara, Tuntari haven't made it to the buyers list. His latest release Kathalo Rajakumari has also joined the list.

While one of Gopichand's film has been put on hold due to financial problems, Aadi's 2-3 films, Manoj's 2 films haven't found any buyers for their satellite rights.
