Hyderabad: IT department has allegedly recovered around Rs 60 crore in cash from the producers of Baahubali.
Apparently, when the decision to demonetise the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes was announced, all Tollywood biggies immediately called up a man called Agarwal in Mumbai who converts their black money to white.
Agarwal assured them of converting the money and asked them to keep the stash ready. IT department which had tapped the phone of Agarwal immediately raided the houses of the producers of Baahubali without any further delay. And here’s the interesting part!
More than Rs 100 crore was said to have been recovered but the official reports have pointed to only around Rs 60 crore. Which brings us to another question!
Why weren't the producers arrested when they were found to be in possession of such a huge amount of black money?
