People have various phobias and so do our film stars. While some people are scared of closed places or busy places, Sonam is dead scared of elevators.
Apparently, she avoids it and takes the stairs whenever she has to go up. But when she has to go up many floors, then she says she go to the corner of the lift and stands there.
Recently, during a trip to Bangkok, she was put up at a 55-storey hotel and on her sister Rhea’s insistence, Sonam confesses that she went up and down the elevator many times to overcome her fear.
Of course, she says she felt totally dizzy and ready to faint by the end of it.
However, Sonam says she is still not comfortable taking an elevator. She says she would prefer taking the stairs any day.
