Nallamalupu Bujji is currently producing two movies with rising stars Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej.
Varun Tej’s Mister is directed by Sreenu Vaitla and Sai Dharam Tej’s film is directed by reliable young director Gopichand Malineni. Both these films are hot in the trade that Bujji has been getting very good offers from all corners.
As per sources, overseas distribution rights of both the films were sold for 4.05 crore. This is huge considering the market of Varun and SDT in this territory.
Sreenu Vaitla’s last two films were disasters and Gopichand Malineni is yet to make a mark at the overseas box office. Hence, this is a super deal for the producer who tried to close the deal for 4.05 crore.
When the buyer have quoted 4 crore as the final price, Bujji demanded for 4.05 crore as his lucky number is 9. Then the buyer offered another 5 lakh rupees so that the total remains 9 as per Bujji’s wish.
Although Mister has started rolling, SDT’s film is yet to hit the floors, buyers are already vying for distribution rights and most of them are looking to buy both the movies.
Bujji is lucky to get the dates of in demand heroes at a time. His gamble to make both the films simultaneously is paying off big time.
