Pawan Kalyan's Katama Rayudu is yet to create any buzz in the business circles for obvious reasons.
First look poster released for Diwali also lacked the zing that is usually associated with a PK starrer. Director Dolly and North Star Entertainments track record also isn’t helping Katamarayudu to find takers.
Trade sources say that business of Katama Rayudu is still open in most of the areas. In overseas none of the buyers are showing interest in bagging the rights of this commercial entertainer with a faction backdrop.
Instead overseas buyers are already making enquiries to snap the rights of Pawan’s next film that will be directed by top director Trivikram.
#PK23 will take a while to start rolling, but that is not stopping buyers from betting on it. Buyers are coming up with tempting offers but the makers are not in a hurry to sell the theatrical rights. They are aware of the potential of a PK-Trivikram film and hence playing the waiting game.
Films like Baahubali 2 and #Mahesh23 are expected to bring a lot of difference to the current market dynamics. So the producers of Pawan-Trivikram film are not going to talk business until those films hit the marquee.
