Following the disaster that was 'Lingaa', Rajnikanth was kept occupied by the various financial disputes that arose as a result of the movie's failure. Apparently, they have all been sorted out and the superstar is back to listening to scripts for his next project.
Some time back, there were reports that Rajini’s next would be a sequel to Robo, again in the direction of Shankar and that Aamir Khan would also be a part of the project. However, there has been no confirmation on this from official sources.
Now, the name of a young Kannada director is doing the rounds regarding Rajini’s next film. He is Pawan Vadayar, the director of the Tollywood film ‘Potugadu’, which did average business.
Pawan was also the director of the original version of Potugadu in Kannada, ‘Govindaya Namaha’. It is believed that Pawan narrated a script recently to Rajnikanth which met with the latter’s approval and that the movie will go on floors soon. If this is true, then it would indeed be a great step forward in the career of Pawan.
