The grapevine is that Mahesh Babu’s new film that was launched a couple of days ago is likely to be titled as Kannayya.
It may be recalled that Mahesh Babu was referred as Kannayya by his mother played by Lakshmi in Murari movie and incidentally both the film and the character of Mahesh gave an everlasting impact on the audience.
So it seems the makers of Mahesh’s new film have taken a cue from that popular role and are considering Kannayya as their working title, says an inside source.
Directed by Koratala Shiva of Mirchi fame, the shooting of the film will commence from the first week of September.
Shruti Haasan who shook a leg for an item number with Mahesh in Aagadu will be seen as the leading lady in this family entertainer.
